Apple Springs at Boulder Canyon, a Black Hills planned community, wanted to reach more prospective buyers for its homes and lots. The property is set among the woodlands of the Black Hills National Forest and Boulder Canyon Golf Club, close to Deadwood and Sturgis as well as the region’s natural wonders.
The owners of Apple Springs had previously hired Augmental to revamp the website for Boulder Canyon Golf Club. After the success of that project, Augmental was selected for the Apple Springs site as well. Working together with web designer Twwist Creative, Augmental:
Researched and created a new value proposition for Apple Springs. The original Apple Springs site emphasized the pioneer history of the land. Through company and customer interviews, Augmental determined there was much more Apple Springs offered prospective buyers. Research indicated that its location, setting, golf course, amenities, and accessibility were all standout features. Augmental included these concepts into the tagline: “Close to Everything. Away from It All.”
Planned new architecture and webpage structure. The original website focused on homes, lots, and the physical features of each neighborhood, with a small section about area recreation. Augmental proposed a new structure that emphasized all of the community’s benefits. It included new pages that described the lifestyle buyers could expect, and it proposed guides to support buyers as well as search engine optimization.
Wrote copy for most of the site and optimized the site for search. Using best practices in on-page optimization, Augmental recommended new webpages to attract prospective buyers. The copy that Augmental wrote prioritized the human, helping lead visitors from interest to action as they journey through the site.
The resulting website reflects the beauty, excitement, and simplicity that Apple Springs offers to prospective buyers.
